Love... eternal!!

C’mon… don’t tell me. You also??!!

You also believe in passing by affairs!! That comment made by one of my friends kept hammering my head. Made me feel like I’ve committed a big crime. Well… it is a crime of sorts to put your integrity and family prestige at stake!! Oh shit!! I’ve broken their trust. I’ve fallen in LOVE!!

Yeah yeah… the same old story, same old inhibitions. Well I was not jolted from this reality out of the blue. It was there... rather it was a part of me all the while…

But this thing it just happens, you are not prepared, you are completely unarmed and bang the Cupid’s cute arrow goes through your heart and you are left all smeared with love divine…

A cute smile, some flirting, throw few compliments and Whoosh... poof Love is in the air!! Then you can spot the cute couple all hot for each other in every nook and corner possible.
Shopping becomes a ritual and so does going for movies.
This continues till the guy realizes how rapidly his salary is vanishing or when they get bored of each other...
What the heck...

Is this really the face of love now?

Love is too strong a word to say it too early, but it has too beautiful a meaning to say it too late. So it is actually to meet the wrong person First… so that when u meet the right person afterwards you know what actually TRUE LOVE means!!!!! :)
Nothing right, nothing wrong..Just the varying personal definitions!!

Marie: is this really the face of love now?

Me: the face of love has not changed. its just that the people have started to mask it with feelings like affection, attraction, platonic relations, fancies, interests, inclinations etc. they think they are in love but they may not be. these "foreign feelings" can last for maybe a year or two. and considering this period, they think it was love.
after this time interval is over, they look back and realize that theres more to love than just attraction or spending most of the time together.
love is altogether a different concept. its not a feeling. its a state of being. it can seldom be defined, but can always be understood; provided u really are or have been in love....

Nope, not at all…but does the criteria specified really justify the evaluation of term. As far as couples are concerned, I agree with what is being observed though I have seen exceptions. Emotional quotient of a normal human being states, when you force someone to do something out of love gives you joy; especially when the doer is unwilling. (Dono if any such theory really exists, You got to verify this :P )
Well…when it’s about parents, I would like mention one weird thought in my mind. If two families are isolated from earth and kept on a planet (obviously both families having most eligible lovers :D ), then would parents ever deny the relation. (If answer is no) There are factors on which the parents’ decision is based, if one can’t change the factors then one need not even abide by the decision, if one abides by the parents decision implies actual conscious purpose of parents and unconscious purpose of self is achieved. Then what is it all about…huh?
